We have called our Shepherd’s hut ‘Tan Goeden’ which translates as ‘Until a tree’ as it is situated in the orchard.

Staying in the hut is a unique experience, it overlooks the duck pond and the fields beyond providing a beautiful tranquil setting where one can sit (with a glass of wine perhaps), accompanied by our two geese, our chickens and of course the ducks. The hours simply evaporate!

Built in Wales by local craftsmen using traditional skills and knowhow, the hut has an oak chassis and authentic iron wheels. It comes complete with all mod cons, including a mini-kitchen (with Bialetti Moka coffee maker), wood-burning stove, shower room with flush toilet, digital radio and high-speed internet for perfect wi-fi calling (bring your laptop for a bigger screen) so we feel that it is not overstating it to call it luxurious.

The hut is double glazed, fully insulated and has an easy to pull down full sized double bed with luxury mattress, feather pillows and duvet, cushions, and an authentic vintage Welsh blanket. With almost no ambient noise, other than that of nature, a good night’s sleep should be assured.

We have also provided two Welsh woollen throws so, as the nights draw in, you can wrap yourself up, go outside and enjoy the evening, and later maybe, some star gazing.

All the ingredients are there for a romantic break for two. Set in quiet and peaceful rural Benllech, the hut is only minutes away from local beaches, shops, bars and restaurants. However, if you want to be lazy, then takeaways and home delivery are available.

With constant hot water, showering is a delight, no campsite sharing here!

We are very dog friendly so dogs are welcome and allowed in the hut but must be goose and duck and friendly. Also, because the shepherd’s hut overlooks the pond, not obsessed with water! If you do wish to bring a dog with you, please take this into consideration.

Please note that although there is no cellnet or tv the hut does have wi-fi, a smallfridge, an induction hob , toaster, kettle and a sink whilst in the adjacent pony box (now converted to a kitchen) there is additional storage, a charcoal BBQ (for use outside), a multifunction microwave, a fridge/freezer, a sink with hot water, and a dishwasher.

At modest cost diposable BBQ's are also availalable for those just wanting to cook a simple stake or fish.

Outside there is a wood fired Chiminea to keep you warm whilst ‘alfresco’ dining, two reclining garden chairs and a table. Take your choice, sit on the balcony and take in the evening sun or live like a shepherd and sit on the grass, rural Anglesey at its best!

Order from us the night before and then wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread, delivered to your hut at the time of your choice.
